Beyeonics Surgical is a medical device start-up company located in Haifa, Israel. Beyeonics develops a surgical platform for spine and brain surgeries incorporating AR/VR headset, Navigation, and imaging. Beyeonics R&D group is built from a multidisciplinary collection of experts in the fields of electro-optics, mechanical, SW, HW, and algorithm engineering.

Job Description:
The Clinical Application Specialist is an essential part of the sales team and will be our product experts in the field acting as our face to the customer that personally owns and ensures the success of each case. You will provide clinical applications training to customers on how to properly use the Beyeonics systems properly, and actively troubleshoot them in real-time in the OR. This education will be in both pre/post sales environments in conjunction with sales and marketing teams. You are a key contributor to improving the quality of our product by providing feedback to the product management & R/D teams.
Responsibilities:
- Drive product utilization by managing and implementing our corporate strategies.
- Provide technical and clinical application training, education and ongoing support to train surgeons, operating room (OR) staff and sales team of the approved use and application of the Beyeonics devices.
- Provide in-servicing and on-site and/or remote clinical application support to customers by providing scientific and technical information regarding the approved use of the Beyeonics devices.
- Ensure successful implementation of all equipment and software upgrades at clinical sites for Beyeonics Surgical.
- Take ownership for communication and management of relationships amongst all relevant parties (Beyeonics, healthcare organizations, and HCPs) to guarantee proper surgical coverage and support for all cases.
- Provide clear and accurate documentation of each site visit via a standardized reporting mechanism (CRM).
- Communicate with the Field Service team and Sales Reps to ensure clinical training is scheduled for new installations and needs for ongoing surgical support.
- Assist sales team within the sales / demo process.
- Understand the orthopedic and neurosurgical competitive landscape and have intimate knowledge of commonly performed procedures and the medical devices used in these procedures.
- Develop and continued refinement of training content for both customers and sales teams to be used during demos, conferences, team meetings, remotely etc.
- Collaborate with product team on creation of training tools and devices.
- Attend and support medical and industry conferences, fellowships, conferences, exhibits, seminars, trainings, and cadaver labs as needed.
- Identify and report all adverse events and device deficiencies to R&D and the medical affairs team per company protocol.
- Always act in a professional manner, representing Beyeonics in the highest regard.
Required Qualifications:
- Be a team player.
- Experience in OR environment, preferably with medical devices or background with training/certification as RN, PA, surgical tech, or 1st
- Preference for direct experience in spine and cranial procedures in either orthopedic or neurosurgical applications.
- Ability to professionally interact and foster a positive relationship with physicians and healthcare personnel.
- Familiar with industry facility credentialing protocols.
- Independent thinker, entrepreneurial mindset, ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Willingness to travel routinely, with up to 70% overnight and occasional weekends.
- Requires a valid driver’s license with good driving record/
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
